An Electrical Engineering student at CIMATEC University Center, currently engaged as a Robotics Engineer Intern in the Robotics Department, focusing on the development of soft robot solutions for the oil and gas industries. Involvement in the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) has led to receiving an honorable mention for dedicated volunteer efforts, contributing to the chapter's 2nd place accolade in the technical chapter category at the 2021 Regional Success Awards R9. Additionally, working on an open-source package for ROS 2 aimed at motion capture using point clouds. Areas of interest include Robotics, Control Systems, Machine Learning, and Simulation (Gazebo and Isaac SIM).

  • Robotics Engineer Intern
    1/1/2024 - Present

Developed solutions for the Oil and Gas industries using soft robots for inspection, utilizing expertise in C++ code development and conducting comprehensive code reviews. Specialized in control systems design, employing model-based control via Lagrangian Mechanics and data-based control through machine learning. Designed electronic and communication systems, and managed repositories using GIT. Showcased advanced software engineering skills in C++, Python, Linux systems, Docker, and ROS 2. Efficiently navigated Agile methodologies to ensure project success and iterative development.

  • Research Fellow in Robotics
    10/1/2022 - 12/1/2023

Engaged in the development of soft robotics manipulators aimed at non-destructive inspections within offshore and onshore oil and gas production sectors. Specialized in the development of closed-loop control systems, conducting simulations, integrating sensor fusion, and software engineering. Tools and frameworks expertly utilized include ROS, C++, Python, Ubuntu (Linux), MATLAB, and Gazebo.

  • Research Fellow
    1/1/2021 - 10/1/2022

Spearheaded the development of a cyber-physical system for leak detection in oil production lines within mature fields. Utilized Internet of Things (IoT) principles to design a distributed detection system along the pipeline, ensuring seamless communication through a robust network. Enabled real-time data transmission to the internet, facilitating remote monitoring from any global location. Demonstrated advanced technical expertise in wireless communication protocols, sensor integration, and data processing. Employed specialized tools and frameworks such as MQTT, Zigbee, and LoRaWAN for efficient data collection and transmission. Enhanced system reliability and responsiveness through the implementation of cloud-based monitoring solutions. Ensured robust data security and integrity with the use of encryption techniques and secure communication channels.
