Backblaze B2 is a cloud storage service designed for backing up and archiving data at low costs. It follows on from the remote backup services previously offered by Backblaze. The platform provides an interface for customers to store data, and includes features such as file versioning, lifecycle management, and server-side encryption by default. With its pay-as-you-go pricing model (which separates download requests from the cost of storage), B2 competes with other object storage services like Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage.
