EP-BASIC, or Enhanced Performance BASIC, is a programming language for the BASIC Stamp microcontroller. It is an extended version of PBASIC (Parallax BASIC), with more instructions and features to improve code efficiency and execution speed. EP-BASIC supports users who require more complex operations than those practical with standard PBASIC. The language enhances basic commands by augmenting them with advanced functions that can handle multi-channel ADC conversion, high-speed pulse generation on multiple I/O pins simultaneously, and other performance-intensive capabilities. It is used in applications where real-time processing or precise timing are significant factors for automation systems, educational projects, simple robotics, etc.
