Kamailio

Kamailio is an open-source SIP server for voice over IP (VoIP) and unified communication services. It works with standard SIP clients and devices, offering a scalable platform for handling thousands of calls per second. Kamailio can be used to build large platforms encompassing features like call routing, NAT traversal, load balancing, failover and monitoring. Its architecture allows the integration of various databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL backends in addition to its support for different transport layer protocols — UDP, TCP or TLS. Additionally Kamailio can be combined with other elements in the telecom ecosystem, such as Asterisk or FreeSWITCH.
