Loglan

Loglan is a constructed language designed for linguistic research. Introduced in 1955 by Dr James Cooke Brown, Loglan was developed as an experimental language for use in cognitive science experiments on human perception of grammar and usage. It has over 1,000 speakers worldwide, mostly artificial intelligence researchers. Like other logical languages such as Lojban (a later offshoot of Loglan), it uses the principles of propositional logic to structure sentences and expressions free from ambiguity or metaphorical meanings. This makes it suitable for mathematical proofs and natural language processing applications in AI research but less practical for general communication.
