Aerospike

Aerospike is an in-memory NoSQL database for real-time transactional and big data workloads. The technology uses a combination of DRAM and flash storage to provide the speed of in-memory databases with the persistence of on-disk databases. Aerospike lets users create applications without worrying about sharding, replication, or consistency trade-offs — it handles these aspects automatically. Notably, Aerospike supports strong consistency and ACID transactions while being distributed and fault-tolerant. Its Hybrid Memory Architecture allows scaling both read and write operations linearly across multiple nodes without sacrificing performance or availability, making it useful for scenarios such as ad tech platforms, fraud detection systems, recommendation engines, internet-of-things (IoT) backends and similar high-throughput environments where low-latency access to large volumes of data is essential.
