Apertium

Competitors include Google Translate, DeepL, and Microsoft Translator, which offer broader language support and advanced neural translation technologies.

An Apertium expert must possess skills in computational linguistics, proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++, and experience with XML for linguistic data handling. They should also understand finite-state transducers and have the ability to develop and refine language pairs within the Apertium framework.
