Citrine

Citrine is a programming language implemented in the OpenCog framework, which is an open-source artificial general intelligence (AGI) project. It's designed to support the development and implementation of advanced AGI systems by providing a high-level interface for building and manipulating complex knowledge structures. The language incorporates probabilistic logic and evolutionary learning algorithms, allowing AI agents to reason with uncertainty while adapting their behavior over time through experience. In essence, Citrine lets developers create sophisticated cognitive architectures that can simulate human-like reasoning processes in areas such as perception, memory recall, decision-making under uncertainty, spatial reasoning, analogy exploration and hierarchical goal-setting in dynamic environments. Its position within OpenCog allows it to interact with other components of the framework — such as AtomSpace or PLN (Probabilistic Logic Networks) — facilitating integration of different cognitive functionalities into a more comprehensive intelligent system.
