Clarion

Clarion is a programming language and environment for Windows. The toolchain includes a data dictionary, editor, compiler, and integrated development environment (IDE). Clarion can be used to create database-driven applications with GUI interfaces and supports various back-end databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL or SQLite. It uses a code generation system that allows developers to focus on the application logic while handling many routine coding tasks automatically. Written in Clarion can also access .NET assemblies using the .NET bridge technology available in later versions of the language ecosystem.
