Couchdb Mobile

CouchDB Mobile is a database technology for mobile and web development. The system is based on Apache CouchDB, an open-source NoSQL database that uses JSON for data storage, JavaScript as its query language using MapReduce, and HTTP for an API. Apache CouchDB has features like Master/Slave and Peer-to-Peer replication support, incremental data synchronization between devices or servers, conflict resolution by design with document revisions tracking changes over time. It uses SQLite as the local storage wrapper on mobile platforms to offer offline-first capabilities. This means apps can work with local data when disconnected from the network and then synchronize changes across devices or servers when reconnected.
