Digital Asset Modeling Language (Daml)

The Digital Asset Modeling Language (DAML) is a language for programming smart contracts. Originally developed by the U.S. company for financial services, Digital Asset Holdings, DAML is designed to enforce contract provisions automatically without requiring manual intervention or interpretation of contractual clauses. This helps ensure that all parties involved in a transaction adhere to the terms of an agreement and helps reduce disputes while improving efficiency in the management of complex financial instruments and agreements.
