Yoix is a programming language designed for creating graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and networked applications. The syntax of Yoix blends features from both Java and Tcl, allowing seamless integration with Java classes in an interpreted environment. It includes data types like text strings, numbers, arrays, tables, files and TCP/IP sockets to support a wide range of application development needs. Originally developed by AT&T in the late 90s as part of their research into early web technologies, it has been used mainly in commercial software products for its rapid development capabilities.
